Afghan institute of cultural heritage and tourism studies {AICTS}

AICTS has already been registered in the Ministry of Culture and Information on Sep. 3. 2009 under the Reg. Nr.: 440. Also, the planed curriculum suggested by AICTS for a two year education and training has been approved by the Ministry of Higher Educations. There is a Memory of Understanding signed and agreed upon with the Ministry of Higher Education addressing the acceptance of those students with high scores in their final exams at the graduate level (3rd class) on the Kabul University, faculty for social studies. According to the proposed curriculum the students visiting AICTS are able to find jobs not only in the main target sectors –maintenance and renovation of cultural heritages and tourism, but also in areas, where management, computer knowledge, international languages etc. are required. Equipped with the planed skills, they would easily find jobs in the public and private sectors and in national and international NGOs. They will be employed at the various Departments of ministry of culture and information, ministry of education and in municipalities of the country.
